Paolo Barilla (born 20th April, 1961 in Milan, Italy) is a Italian former racing driver and businessman best known for his appearances in Formula One. He is also one of the heirs to the Barilla pasta company and is currently one of Italy's richest people.
Formula One
Barilla made his debut in 1990 when his family pasta company became title sponsors for the Coloni team. Unfortunately for him and teammate Giovanna Amati, Coloni were woefully uncompetitive and struggled to pre-qualify all season.
