Miguel Rocha (born 23 June 1988 in Oporto) is a portuguese entrepeneur, racing driver and engineer, who currently owns the Lotto Racing enterprise, which include the Lotto Racing corporation, and the organization of the Group B Rallycross Championship and the Catheram Winter Series, and who currently drives for his own squad in IPC. Previously, he became a double portuguese karting champion and drove in Spanish F3.

Early Life and Early Career

Rocha was born to Lotto Racing manager Carlos Rocha and Carla Oliveira in the city of Oporto, but moved to Belgium with his father when he was 3 years old. He started go karting at the age of 7 supported by Lotto company, where his dad worked. He entered his first event one year later, and won his first national race two years later. At the end of the year, his father passed away, and he returned to Portugal, where he would become double regional and national champion. He drove for the first time in the European Championship at 15 years old, when he finished 8th overall, and in the following finished 4th, while also winning the "Taça de Portugal de Karting", and finishing 7th in the world championships.

Spanish Formula Three (2005-

Rocha debuted in single seaters in the 2005 season of the Spanish Formula Three championship, driving for ECA Racing in the Copa de España. In his first race weekend, he qualified 20th for both races in Jarama, and would finish 15th and 14th respectivelly. Despite the results, he set the fastest lap of the race in the second race of the weekend.
