Marin Dumitrescu (born January 19th, 1919) is a Romanian former racing driver.

After WW2, Dumitrescu made his debut in motor racing in Romanian off-road series driving in a modified military Jeep. In 1956, Dumitrescu defected to the Soviet Union after entering the East German Grand Prix with the Brown Racing Enterprises team under the psuedonym of "Martin Drummond". The team was solely set up to allow Team Principal Donald Brown, Polish driver Michał Nahorski, Dumitrescu and a number of British and West German engineers to defect. The team's loaned Lotus equipment was found abandoned on the Sunday morning of the race as news began trickling through of the defections. Dumitrescu continued to race in the Soviet Union until the late 1970s before retirement. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Dumitrescu returned to Romania.
