James "Jim" Clark (born 26th March 1936 in Kilmany, Scotland) is a former Formula One driver best known for winning the 1965 World Drivers Championship driving for Lotus.

Formula One career

After winning the 1965 World Drivers Championship, Clark continued to drive for Lotus alongside new recruit Mario Andretti. Clark would try to defend his title in the brand new Colin Chapman-designed Lotus 43, which was powered by a 3.0-litre O.S.C.A. V12 engine.
