Racing Career

2015: F1RDS

De Boer signed up to Definitely Maybe Racing for the inaugural season of the F1RDS. After a difficult start where the teams visited tracks that didn't suit the Renault engines, he got his first points at Monaco. He retired from the first race at Paul Ricard, but managed to win the second and followed this up with a win at Brno. These impressive wins helped De Boer onto an unexpected title charge, and he managed to win again at Spa-Francorchamps. Although he couldn't manage to win the title, De Boer enjoyed a great end to his season with two podiums at Zandvoort; a result that was welcomed by the fans due to him having a Dutch father.

2016-: F3RWRS

After this success, De Boer was a man in demand. Needing someone to manage his affairs efficiently, he signed up to Fusion Motorsports who already managed some successful drivers. Fusion simultaneously engineered a move that would see De Boer move to Octan Young Drivers' F3RWRS team and Finnish driver Jari Lappalainen racing for Definitely Maybe Racing in the F1RDS.
