Helm Glöckler

Helmut Erik "Helm" Glöckler (born 13 January 1909 in Frankfurt am Main, died 18 December 1993 in Frankfurt am Main) was a German racing driver. Active from the 1940s until the mid-to-late 1950s, Glöckler was an accomplished sportscar racer, winning various rallies in in native Germany and Austria, as well as the 1951 German sportscar championship and the 1953 Eifelrennen. Driving for Alan Brown's Equipe Anglaise outfit, he also made two Formula 1 appearances at the 1956 Italian Grand Prix and 1957 German Grand Prix. While he did qualify for the latter, he was unable to finish the race.
