Hans Binder

Hans Binder (born 12 June 1948 in Zell am Ziller, Tyrol, Austria) is an Austrian former racing driver who competed in Formula One and Formula Two during the 1970s.

After a few years in the F2 circuit, Binder would make his Formula One debut at the 1977 French Grand Prix, driving for the underfunded B&S Fabrications team. Binder would struggle with the team's uncompetitive Renzo-powered March 761 chassis.

Binder would make a few appearances in Formula 2 over the next two years before leaving motorsports altogether, becoming heavily involved with the family timber business, Binderholz GmbH. His nephew René Binder is also a racing driver.
