Frank Jelinski

Frank Jelinski (born May 23th, 1958 in Bad Münder am Deister, Lower Saxony, West Germany) is a German former racing driver known for his appearances in Formula One.

In 1987, Jelinski raced for the Osella Squadra Corse team alongside Alex Caffi. Jelinski frequently failed to qualify for the races this year and only made the finish on one occasion, with a sixteenth place in the San Marino Grand Prix.

Following his brief stint in F1, Jelinski became a works driver with Audi. Jelinski took part in the 1989 Tooheys 1000 with Audi alongside fellow Grand Prix driver Leonhard von Gottorp. The pair were successful and won the B Class in their Audi V8.
