Club Bangelia Racing was an Italian racing team most notable for its exploits in the F1RWRS. The team was formed by enigmatic American driver Dan BH and was one of the ten founding teams of the F1RWRS. They also briefly ran a team in the Autosport Clio Cup but it was abandoned after only one season.

History

2010 Season

At the outset of the 2010 F1RWRS season the team signed James Davies to race in the second seat alongside BH. In its first season, Club Bangelia was superb with Dan BH taking the team's first win at the Saxon Grand Prix. BH also took three second places en route to finishing third in the Drivers' Championship. Davies was less of a factor but he did pick up a podium at the end of the season leaving him eighth in the standings. In the Constructors' Championship, Club Bangelia finished an impressive second and was only beaten by Prospec.

2011 Season

After 2010, however, things took a turn for the worse. Dan BH did not return any calls about his future with the team so the team was left without its founder, team boss and lead driver. James Davies continued with the team however and took up lead driving duties whilst Douglas Mann was linked to the second Bangelia seat. However, Mann decided to create his own team after seeing Club Bangelia's lacklustre testing performance. The second spot was thus left vacant and Davies was the only driver throughout the year. The 2011 season was a dismal year for Club Bangelia. Although Davies did have several points finishes, the team was only able to place fourteenth in the Constructors' Championship. The lone bright spot for the year was at the Kent Grand Prix where Davies took a sensational second place. However, this would prove to be Club Bangelia's last podium ever as the team was unable to continue in 2012. James Davies left for brighter pastures, moving to Anglo-Manx Racing for 2012, and with no word from either BH or any of the team's management, Club Bangelia folded. It was an ignominious end for an otherwise successful team.

Mid-way during the 2015 F1RWRS season, the team's former headquarters were bought out by former Scuderia Ferrari manager Andreas Stefano.
