André Pilette (born 6 October 1918 in Paris, France, died 27 December 1993 in Etterbeek) was a Belgian racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1950 onwards. Mostly competing for Ecurie Nationale Belge and affiliate teams, his highest moment came in the 1951 Belgian Grand Prix, when he took pole position and only missed the win by less than a second. He briefly competed for the works Bentley team and filled in at Alfa Romeo in late 1954 after Stirling Moss was fired from the team. He scored two points in this stint. While at ENB, he drove a very high amount of different cars, gaining much-appreciated experience over the years. He died in Brussels aged 75.
