Alain Menu
Alain Menu (born 9 August 1963) is a Swiss racing driver, known for his appearances in Formula 3000, the World Touring Car Masters and the World Touring Car Championship.
Early years in single seaters
The son of a farmer, Menu was born in Geneva. Like many drivers who eventually build a career in touring cars, Menu began his career in single-seater racing, reaching the International Formula 3000 championship in 1991 after two years in the British Formula 3 Championship and one year in the British Formula 3000 Championship, in which he finished runner-up in 1990.

Finding success rare in F3000, Menu switched to Touring cars, signing for the front running USD Toyota works team as test driver.

In the meantime, Toyota loaned Menu to their British Touring Car team, Rouse Racing, where the Swiss teamed up with boss Andy Rouse and former Formula 1 driver Julian Bailey.
