Chuck Leighton (born 25 February 1924 in Los Angeles, died 8 June 2003) was an American racing driver. His career was extremely brief and limited to a bit over a month. During this time, he competed in the 1950 Indianapolis 500 for Cantarano. Using the highly unusual circumstances surrounding the event, Leighton qualified 19th and finished in a highly unexpected fifth place. He failed to qualify for his following AAA effort and promptly retired.
