Verna Klien (born 4 Sept 1995 in Vienna) is an Austrian racing driver currently contracted to High Performance Driver Talent Management, the driver management arm of the High Performance Group.

She currently competes in the F1 Rejects Super Touring Cup for the HPG-run Mazda Team HPR.

Early career

Klien was racing karts in Austria and Switzerland from a young age.

HPDTM signed her after team owner/co-founder Dominic Spearman watched her race.

Career

IFRC

Verna Klien was going to drive for the Melrose Racing Team in the #20 BMW-Cosworth from round 6, before trouble with the IFRC and MRT making the team excluded from the championship. That meaning Klien would also have to give up his spot in hope for another chance in the IFRC.

F1RSTC

Klien will drive for Mazda Team HPR in the #33 Mazda 323 for the full 2016-2017 season.
