The New York Grand Prix was a race on the Formula One calendar.
It was held during the peak of the American expansion of the Formula One calendar during the 1980s with multiple different street tracks hosting races. The New York Grand Prix in particular was a replacement for the cancelled Caesars Palace Grand Prix for the 1983 season. While talks were held to run the Grand Prix at Flushing Meadows in New York, it was instead moved to the Meadowlands Sports Complex, and that layout was situated in the parking lots around Giants Stadium.
