Anne Hall

Anne Hall (born 30 May 1919 in Huddersfield, died 19 January 2003 in Dorset) was a British racing driver. Mostly active in rallying, she was one of the most successful female rally drivers in the 1950s prior to the success of Formula 1 teammate Pat Moss, competing until the late 1990s. This success attracted the attention of the controversial BRUNEL team, known for hiring exclusively female drivers. However, over two years, she failed to start a race and is generally considered to have been out of her depth compared to peers such as Maria Teresa de Filippis or Gilberte Thirion.
