Benoît Voeckler
Benoît Voeckler is a French racing driver. He is a member of the Voeckler racing family.
Racing Career
After quickly rising through the lower levels of the racing pyramid, albeit with little success, Voeckler found himself a spot in the 2016 F1RWRS circus - initially as a test driver for the Equipe Gauthier squad before making an unsuccessful attempt at the grid with the Dutch Boxtel Engineering squad at the Japanese Grand Prix.
The following year, Voeckler spent the season seemingly trying to race in every possible series, with the Frenchman making appearances in F1RWRS with Boxtel, Formula One with DGNgineering, ARST with Alfa Romeo and Formula Nippon with Kurosawa and Trueba.
Voeckler decided to step a little closer to his skill level in 2018 by dropping down into the AutoReject 3.5 series with Rob Lomas Racing, but was still outclassed by the majority of the field.
Another series change occured in 2019, with Voeckler moving stateside to the Rescale Indy Lights series. Almost immediately his torrid reputation would be even more justified at the second round of the series at Long Beach, where he inexplicably ended up driving the wrong way around the circuit - causing him to be banned for a race.
