Dan Greenlaw (born February 25, 1990) is an American racing driver from Hartford, Connecticut that currently competes for Voeckler Grand Prix Engineering in the AutoReject World Series. To date, Greenlaw has achieved two victories in the series.
He is seen as a legendary driver in motor racing superstition after breaking the BH Curse by winning the 2018 ARWS Austrian Grand Prix.
Career
Little was known about Greenlaw's junior racing career, but he was due to drive for Castrol Jones Racing in the 2012 season of the IRDU Rejects Cup prior to the series' collapse and was subsequently hired by Sammy Jones to be official test driver for his team during the 2012 F1RWRS season. He has also competed in the 2013 F1RWRS Indianapolis 500 for American Racing Conglomerate, qualifying 20th and retiring on lap 138 with an engine failure. He now competes in the F1 Rejects Historic alongside friend and mentor Tristan Jung. In 2014, Greenlaw was signed to the ZombieKart team in the F3RWRS and performed admirably, taking a second place in his first race. However, in the last race of the weekend, he was the victim of an horrific accident after Alberto Donegro intentionally rammed Greenlaw several times. Greenlaw was taken to the hospital with fears that he may have suffered two broken legs, but was miraculously cleared to race at the next round when it turned out he was misdiagnosed at the track centre, and in reality had only escaped with major bruising and swelling. Donegro was suspended for two races after the incident.
