Frederico Angeli is an Argentinean dancer and LGBT-activist from Buenos Aeres, Argentina. Nicknamed 'the messiah of the dance', due to his outwardly resemblance to Jesus Christ.
His involvement in racing came in a chance encounter when making a documentary in Cuba with Swedish photographer Friedl Kallström, getting into trouble with a local drug cartel and meeting taxi driver Carlos Marquez, who saved both lifes. Due to Marquez and Kallströms involvement in the Life Grand Prix Series with the Chinese outfit Great Leap Backward, Frederico got the chance to participate in a race in 1993. Showing some talent.
However, due to being an LGBT-activist, and his teammate Kim Jong Sungs North Korean backers not very keen on having a gay teammate, GLB decided to sack him. However, GLB still listed him as a reserve driver, despite Angeli not having any involvement at all. Despite taking legal action to have his name removed from the team, the team keeps on listing him up until this day.
Nowadays Angeli is a big celebrity in Argentina, having become a tv-presentor, but occasionally drives touring cars when invited by old friends Marquez and Kallström.
