The 1951 Formula One season was the second season of the Formula One World Championship. It consisted of eight races, including the Indianapolis 500, and also included many parallel categories, including the Champion Elimination Medals Championship, won by Alberto Ascari, and the Mediocrity Awards, won by Franco Rol. Juan Manuel Fangio won the overall championship.
