Johnny Herbert (born 25 June 1964) is a British former racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One and International Formula 3000.
After a fairly successful stint in Formula 3000 between 1988 and 1990, Herbert became the test driver for Lotus Formula One team in 1991, making his race debut the following year. After a rather mediocre showing, the team let him go in thr off-season. Herbert wouldn't be unemployed for long, however, as he would sign with French outfit Larrousse for 1993.
