Johnny Herbert (born 25 June 1964) is a British former racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One and International Formula 3000.
After a fairly successful stint in Formula 3000 between 1988 and 1990, Herbert became the test driver for Lotus Formula One team in 1991, making his race debut the following year. After arather mediocre showing, the team let him go in thr off-season. Herbert wouldn't be unemployed for lomg, however, as he would sign with French outfit Larrousse for 1993.
