The Red Bull Ring, formerly known as the Österreichring, is a motor racing venue in Austria that currently hosts the ARWS Austrian Grand Prix.
History
Österreichring (1969-1995)
Opened in 1969 as the Österreichring, the 3.6 mile circuit was constructed in the hills around Spielberg to provide Austria with a brand new facility for international racing events. The circuit hosted the Formula One Austrian Grand Prix for consecutive years during the 1970s.
