Martin Moravec (born 30 June 1980 in Brno, Czech Republic) is a Czech racing driver, founder of Czechmate Motorsport and driver agent.
Moravec was a successful driver in the Czech Republic and recorded some decent performances in German Formula 3 (14th overall in 2002 & runner-up in 2003) as well as in Formula 3000/GP2, where he consistently placed in the midfield. Eventually, aided by his Czech sponsors, he got his first taste of Formula One machinery in 2007 as a test driver for the Spyker Squadron team, taking part in six Friday practices that year. Following his short F1 stint, Moravec returned home to the Czech Republic and, among other appearances, was one of four drivers to race for the Czech A1GP team in 2007-08.
In 2009, Moravec took a sabbatical from racing and instead pursued a career in business. He founded Czechmate Motorsport later that same year with help from his personal sponsors, and later became a driver agent due to his keen interest of working with young drivers. A few years later he returned to racing mostly with touring cars, such as the Škoda Octavia Cup.
His son Patrik is also a racing driver who as of 2020 competes in the Anglo-Irish Formula 4.
