The 2018 Global Rally Series was the forty-fifth season of the World Rally Championship, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).
The 2021 Global Rally Series will be the forty-eighth season of the Global Rally Series, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).


At the conclusion of the championship: Johan Kristoffersson won the Drivers Championship, whilst Mitsubishi won the Manufacturers Championship, both titles were decided at the final round at the Rally of Finland.
