'''Hellé Nice''', (born '''Mariette Hélène Delangle''' 15 December 1900 in Aunay-sous-Auneau, died 1 October 1984 in Nice) was a French model, dancer and racing driver. Financing her racing career through dancing and modelling, she was a regular competitor at the top echelon of Grand Prix racing in the 1930s until motorsport in Europe was interrupted by World War II. After the War, [[Louis Chiron]] alleged that she had been a Nazi collaborator during the War, effectively ending her career. Using the small amount of money she had left, she made one final entry in the [[1950 French Grand Prix]] to negative reactions from the racing establishment. She died penniless and forgotten at the age of 83.
