Joël Camathias (born 9th February, 1981 in Lugano, Switzerland) is a Swiss racing driver.
In 2002, Camathias initially signed with the Prost Grand Prix team as one of three test drivers, before being drafted into the second race seat at the San Marino Grand Prix after the team's previous driver, Alex Yoong, was dismissed from the team. Camathias competed for four races, managing a best finish of 12th at the Spanish Grand Prix, although after an exceptionally poor performance at the Monaco Grand Prix, finishing 3 laps down on his nearest competitor, he was replaced with fellow test driver Tomas Scheckter for the next race at Canada.
