Tomas Scheckter (born 21st September, 1980 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco) is a South African former racing driver best known for his appearances in Formula One. He is the son to 1976 World Champion Jody Scheckter and nephew to fellow F1 driver Ian Scheckter.

Scheckter spent the first two years of his F1 career as a test driver for Jaguar but found himself behind in the pecking order when race opportunities arose. Scheckter would swap to the Prost Grand Prix team in 2002, initially as a tester before being promoted into the race role for five races in the mid-season - his best result being a fourteenth place finish in the British Grand Prix. He would later be released from the team after being found guilty of kerbcrawling in Hungary.

Scheckter would leave F1 at the end of his Prost stint to seek opportunities in the United States, and joined the IndyCar series in late 2002.
