René Bonnet (born 27 December 1904 in Vaumas, died 13 January 1983 in Épernay) was a French car manufacturer and racing driver. He is best known for founding and running the company DB with Charles Deutsch, the products of which later secured over one thousand class victories across the world. Among these victories in collaboration with Panhard include class wins and Performance Index wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mille Miglia, Monte Carlo Rally and 12 Hours of Sebring.

Bonnet himself was a keen driver and competed at Le Mans into his 50s with some success. When DB entered Formula 1 with an underpowered design, he briefly performed driving duties for his own team before relinquishing the drive to Berardo Taraschi. Bonnet later created his own namesake constructor in 1962 after Charles Deutsch pulled out of the DB partnership.
