Panthera Compétition is the sports section of a French car manufacturer (Panthera Automobiles), based in Montlhéry (France).

History

Panthera Automobiles is a small car manufacturer founded in 1947, that offers a wide range of vehicles powered by combustion engines, and since 2012, supplemented by hybrid and electric engines. Panthera Automobiles is now one of the world leaders in electric cars.

Panthera Compétitions was formed in 1980, by an enginner driver, Romain Le Blan, who bought Panthera Automobiles a year before. The team made its debut in the USA in 2018 Indy Star Mazda and takes part in the 2018-19 FIA Formula E Championship season.

Team subsidiaries

One of the main goal of this team is to find out the best drivers for the next year. So they made relationship with three team : Panthera American Young Driver Team, Panthera Britain Young Driver Team and Abarth Leonetti Racing Team.

Paolo Leonetti win the 2018 Italian Formula 4 season. Alex Smith finished fourth of the 2018 Anglo-Irish Formula 4 season.
