Nicola Larini (born 19th March, 1964 in Lido di Camaiore, Tuscany, Italy) is an Italian racing driver known for his appearances in Formula One. His younger brother, Andrea is also a racing driver.

Formula One

1987: Coloni

Larini made his Formula One debut in 1987, driving for the Enzo Coloni Racing Car System team alongside Japanese driver Kazuki Fushida. Larini's best finish of the year would come at the Monaco Grand Prix, where he'd finish in seventh place.

1988-1990: Osella

Larini switched from Perugia to Verolongo in 1988, joining the Osella Squadra Corse team. Larini was initially joined by Argentinian Oscar Larrauri but was later joined by fellow Italian Stefano Modena after the mid-point of the season.

Larini matched his seventh place in Monaco again, as well as another seventh in the Italian Grand Prix.

Larini and Modena remained together in 1989 - but once again failed to score any points.

Larini was initially joined by Belgian driver Bertrand Gachot in 1990 but would later be teaming with Brazilian Roberto Moreno after Gachot failed to qualify on any of his first six attempts. Larini lasted the whole season and once again failed to score.

1991: Rial

Larini jumped ship to the factory Porsche team Rial in 1991 - racing the second car alongside Germans Michael Bartels and Bernd Schneider. Larini once again failed to score although he did manage to match his best result of seventh at the San Marino Grand Prix.

1998: Minardi

By 1998, Larini was driving for Fondmetal Minardi alongside Norberto Fontana. His best result in his final year of F1 was an eighth place in the French Grand Prix.
