Nicholas Bill Griffith (born 1968 in Minnessota, U.S) is a former racing driver, known for his touring car stints in the 1980s and 1990s.

His daughter, Riley Griffith, is also a racing driver.

Early Career

After graduating from school in 1985, Griffith begin doing Formula Atlantic races in his spare time, to medium success. After finishing 3rd in 1987, he graduated to American Racing Series in 1988, impressing a lot of people by finishing 2nd. His driving style was often critized in road courses, as he was very prone to crashing and late braking, often failing, in order to take the corners as flat-out as possible. Nicholas graduated from university in 1991, with a degree in technology.

WTCM (1990-2001)

After his amazing perfomance at the Michingan ARS race, he was sighted by Johnny Winchester, who contacted him for a possible one-off at Bathurst. He accepted it, and went onto impress with a fantastic 2nd place at PQ. His perfomance in the race was equally impressive. This convinced Winchester to enter him full-time in 1990.

Retirement (2002-)

After a disastrous 2001 season, he opted to retire from racing in 2002, favouring to do part-time racing, focus more on his ventures in the technology and robotics field, and later on, helping her daughter become a racer.
