Kohei Hirate (born March 24, 1986 in Komaki, Aichi, Japan) is a Japanese racing driver. He is an affiliate of the Toyota Driver Program and is the 2016 Siemens Ausdauer Reject Series Drivers' Champion alongside Yuji Ide and Akinori Kikkawa.

2016

Hirate performed double duty for 2016 with Onyx Racing. He raced in the 2016 F1 Rejects Indy Championship Series season, finishing 9th in the Drivers' Standings with 1 win.

He also raced in the 2016 Siemens Ausdauer Reject Series season with co-drivers Yuji Ide and Akinori Kikkawa, the trio winning the Drivers' Championship and finishing 2nd in the Constructors' Championship.

2019

Hirate would perform double duty again in 2019. He raced in the Pacific Endurance Series for Team SARD and in Super Formula for Tochigi Le Beausset Motorsports.
