Fritz Riess Motorenbau was a West German Formula 1 constructor. The constructors' only entry was at the 1952 German Grand Prix. The Riess R52 Formula 1 car was based on the Veritas RS and powered by Alfa Romeo engines. The three entered cars were driven by Fritz Riess himself, Toni Ulmen and Helmut Niedermayr. Despite the proven engine, all three drivers failed to qualify and Riess sold his operation to EMW.
