Berta is an Argentine engine manufacturer and former Formula One constructor. In 1975, Oreste Berta built the Berta-1 Formula One car. It was initially powered by a home-built engine, but after Berta's F1 engine proved underpowered and fragile in testing, it was replaced by BRM powerplants. Berta entered two Grand Prix during the 1976 Formula One Season, his home race at Buenos Aires and the Western United States Grand Prix at Long Beach. The cars were driver by Nestor Garcia-Veiga and Alessandro Pesenti-Rossi, and failed to pre-qualify on both occasions. Oreste Berta sold his Formula One equipment to Escuderia Hernandez and returned to building engines for local and regional lower formulae.

In 2019, Berta fielded a team in the newly created South American Formula 4 championship.
