Edge Motorsports (sometimes shortened as Edge) is a racing car constructor based in Quebec, Canada. It is founded by a French-Canadian sports journalist, Edith Germain.

History

Early years

After working as a sports journalist for over a decade, Edith Germain founded Edge Motorsports with the help of her good friend, Andre Dumont who worked as a racing teacher in his hometown. Germain and Dumont secured funding from an American businessman. The team's staff are mostly from USA and Canada.

Indy Pro Mazda

For its first season of Indy Pro Mazda, Edith Germain's Edge Motorsports fielded 2 cars and signed 2 former North American Formula 4 drivers, a Colombian Alejandro Gómez and a podium finisher Tropican Victoria Marcia Belmonte.
