The 1990 Scrub Era Formula 1 season is the first season in Aislabie's series, which picks up from the end of the real-life 1989 season - the time at which the Formula One grid reached its most bloated size. The Championship was contested over sixteen events, commencing on 8th April at the Brazilian Grand Prix and concluding on 4th November at the Australian Grand Prix. There was also the non-Championship Indoor Trophy event at the Bologna Motor Show.
