Álvarez Competición is a Spanish racing team based in Madrid at La Caja Magica, the former home of the HRT F1 team. It was founded by former racing driver José Álvarez in 2016, taking part in the Indy 500 of that year. It joined the Astro Racing Group in order to become their outfit for American racing series and junior sports car categories starting from 2017. They will also take over Pulsar Racing Team's entry for the RTCC, as well as the Nebula Grand Prix entry for the 2017 Lupo Cup.
