SB Hartono (short for Sekolah Balap Hartono by VAR) is a racing car constructor and racing schools based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is founded by Victor and Arthur Roche of VAR International and an Indonesian conglomerate, Edward Hartono.
History
Early years
Edward Hartono has been planning to form a racing team for years. He got introduced to Roche Brothers of VAR International and decided to give them money to form the team. As he contributed 80% of the funding, Hartono is appointed as the President of the company. He appointed his own daughter, Maria Hartono to act as the team principal. Misaki Yamamoto joined the team while she was visiting Indonesia to attend an auto show.
