William "Bill" Schindler (born 6 March 1909 in Middletown, New York, died 20 September 1952 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) was an American racing driver. A successful midget racer, Schindler joined the AAA in 1950, regularly scoring podiums and competing in the Indianapolis 500 in 1951 and 1952, without much success, though he is one of few drivers to have competed in the race with a prosthetic leg.
