Stirling Moss (born 17 September 1929) is a British former Formula 1 driver. He started competing in Formula 1 in 1950, driving for ENB at the Swiss Grand Prix. He became a full-time driver for Alfa Romeo in 1951. After four years with poor results, he was dropped by Alfa Romeo in late 1954. For 1955 he signed with Scuderia Anglo-Italia, and scored his first podium.
