Verna Klien (born 4 Sept 1995 in Vienna) is an Austrian racing driver currently contracted to High Performance Driver Talent Management, the driver management arm of the High Performance Group.

She currently competes in the International Formula Reject Challenge and F1 Rejects Super Touring Cup series.

Early career

Klien was racing karts in Austria and Switzerland from a young age.

HPDTM signed her after team owner/co-founder Dominic Spearman watched her race. have managed to gain her a seat in IFRC with the Melrose Racing Team, while also running her in their Mazda factory supported F1RSTC team.

Career

F1RSTC

Klien will drive for Mazda Team HPR in the #33 Mazda 323 for the full 2016-2017 season.

IFRC

Klien will drive for the Melrose Racing Team in the #20 BMW-Cosworth from round 6 onwards, replacing Benoît Voeckler.
