Country | Circuit | Notes |
---|---|---|
Template:USA United States | Green Valley Raceway | Classic Texan road course. Now gone... |
Template:DEN Denmark | Roskilde Ring | Rollercoaster masquerading as a race track. |
Template:GBR United Kingdom | Crystal Palace | Classic south London parkland circuit where James Hunt once got into a fight. |
Spain | Montjuic Park | Street circuit. Hosted the Spanish Grand Prix four times. |
Template:FRA France | Circuit de Charade | The French Nürburgring. |
Template:USA United States | Riverside | Another lost classic American circuit. |
Portugal | Boavista | Cobblestones and tramlines! |
South Africa | Kyalami | Original circuit. Big straight on one side, bendy bit on the other. It's more exciting than it sounds. |
Italy | Monza Combined | Chicanes installed on oval section in 1966. Cannot find this version for rFactor. Unknown if it would make for better racing. |
Template:AUS Australia | Amaroo Park | Short, but veeeery undulating. |
Template:USA United States | Laguna Seca | Original layout featuring short straight linking what is now Andretti Hairpin with modern Turn 5. |
West Germany | Nürburgring Südschleife | Very easy to miss non-solid section of ground at exit of final corner, similar to Hungaroring for Season 1 veterans. Unlikely to be game-breaking for anyone, but caution is advised. Basically the Nordschleife but shorter. |
Template:FRA France | Rouen-les-Essarts | If you thought Kielce was bad, wait 'til you see Nouveau Monde! |
Netherlands | Zandvoort | Original circuit. You probably know it already. |
Template:BEL Belgium | Spa-Francorchamps | 14.1 km road circuit. |
East Germany | Halle-Saale-Schleife | Tram lines! |
Template:FRA France | Linas-Montlhéry | A roval from before rovals were cool. |
Template:AUS Australia | Longford | "The Reims of the South Pacific". |
Yugoslavia | Opatija | Do not put a wheel on the dirt here. |
East Germany | Sachsenring | Original 8.6 km road circuit. |
West Germany | Solitudering | Your standard German road circuit: very fast, trees everywhere. |
Spain | ALCAÑIZ | ALCAÑIZ |
Template:AUS Australia | Warwick Farm | So many classic Australian circuits that are now gone... |
Template:FRA France | Reims-Gueux | Grass appears to have characteristics of gravel: car slows down more dramatically than normal here. |
Bahamas | Oakes Field | Very long airfield circuit that was a popular off-season sportscar venue in the first half of the decade. |
Canada | Mosport Park | Canada's original Grand Prix venue. |
Japan | Fuji Speedway | Original layout with banked Daiichi curve. No chicanes either. |
Italy | Imola | Original layout without chicanes. |
Finland | Keimola | Finland's greatest permanent circuit? |
Finland | Eläintarha | "It has a corner naned DEATH CURVE" - Giraurd, 2020. |
West Germany | AVUS | Actual layout used during this time did not feature the banking. But that won't stop us... |
Canada | Saint-Jovite | You could make a decent hillclimb out of half of this track. |
Czechoslovakia | Brno | 13.94 km road circuit. |
Template:FRA France | Pau | You've seen F3 races here. It's one of the least-changed layouts out there. |
Japan | Funabashi | Couldn't keep up with Suzuka and Fuji, but it's still a great little track for these cars. |
Mozambique | Lourenço Marques | In case Kyalami's too mainstream for you, there's this little gem from colonial Portugal. |
Uruguay | Punta Fría | Nice flowing circuit down old South America way. |
Italy | Vallelunga | Original 3.2 km circuit. You know Vallelunga, right? |
Sweden | Mantorp Park | Kind of like Anderstorp but... better? |
Template:USA United States | Meadowdale | Big fuck-off banking for the final turn. |
Template:USA United States | Bridgehampton | America must have the highest combined total of lost and modern classics. |
