North Star Racing Group
This article is about the group itself. For the team, see North Star Racing.
The North Star Racing Group (or NSRG) is an international motorsport group headquartered in Reading, England; though it also has divisions in other countries, most notably Canada. They are the owners of racing team North Star Racing.
History
In late 2005, Jack Clayton, son of North Star Racing founder Sir Blake Clayton, founded the North Star Racing Group as a development area for young drivers to get a start in Motorsport. The group had quite a few drivers join the scheme, however, at the end of the 2016 season all drivers were released as the group was taking a break.
At the start of the 2019 season, Jack decided to restart the group once again. He also refreshed the brand and the North Star Racing team, as it had also taken a break from racing. North Star Racing got a slot in AutoReject 3.5 and is on the waiting list for multiple other series. Clayton also brought on good friend Matthias Schäfer, and he now is the Technical Director at North Star Racing.
