Formula 2 is a motor racing championship for Formula 2 cars that is sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It is an open-wheel racing category that serves as the second tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The following is what happened in Formula 1 and Formula 2 in the ShaneEyoho Universe in 2019. Reigning Formula 2 Champion, Kyle Macleod, moved to Alfa Romeo Racing and joined Formula 1 along with George Russell and Lando Norris who signed for Williams and McLaren respectively whilst Josh Beardmore and Shane Wray remained in Formula 2 for another season with the aim of getting better results to then possibly move into F1 for the 2020 season.
Formula 1
The 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship is a motor racing championship for Formula One cars which marks the 70th running of the Formula One World Championship. It is recognised by the governing body of international motorsport, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. Starting in March and ending in December, the championship was contested over twenty-one Grands Prix. Drivers are competing for the title of World Drivers' Champion, and teams for the World Constructors' Champion. The 2019 championship saw the running of the 1000th World Championship race, which was held in China.
Lewis Hamilton is the defending World Drivers' Champion, after winning his fifth championship title in the previous season, and Mercedes are the defending World Constructors' Champions, after winning their fifth consecutive championship in 2018.
