Mikhail Metelev (born circa 1915 in Russia) is a racing driver known for his stints with the official Soviet Union F1 team. He managed to get a 11th place in the highly controversial 1955 Soviet Grand Prix, being the best of the Eastern Bloc entrants. However, he had a mechanical failure in the 1956 East German Grand Prix, which meant he failed to qualify. Aside from his stint in F1, he was known as a speed record setter and a sucessful sportscar racing driver in his home country.
