Florian Grünewald (born 7th March 1998 in Braunschweig, Germany) is a racing driver currently contracted to Porsche by Best In The World.
Racing Career
Grünewald raced in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in 2015, finishing 7th in the championship. He was signed up to Fusion's young driver programme midway through the season.
2016: F1RDS
After Tōnu Pykälistö was moved from Nurminen Racing Engineering to F3RWRS, Grünewald was signed to replace the Finnish driver. He partnered Estonian driver Anu Võsu, but due to poor performances was ousted in favour of Thomas Butler. He was then released from Fusion's young driver program. Florian spent the rest of the year looking for sponsorship in an attempt to make a comeback in 2017.
