Arturo Francesco "Little Art" Merzario (born 11 March 1943 in Civenna, Italy) is an Italian former racing driver and racing car builder known for his appearances in Formula One.

Formula One

1976: Shadow & Dywa

By 1976, Merzario was driving for the Shadow team alongside Welshman Tom Pryce, sharing the second car in a part season with Frenchman Michel Leclère. Merzario's best result in the Shadow was a eighth place in the German Grand Prix. Merzario also entered one race of the season - the French Grand Prix - for the floundering Dywa team. He failed to make it out of pre-qualifying.

Following the 1976 season, Merzario was unable to find a suitable drive for the next year, so he decided to build his own team and chassis in Formula Two, with plans to return to Formula One in a future season.
