- The series will visit Chicago as a race at Chicagoland Speedway is planned for the summer.
- Several races changed places on the calendar due to the addition of a race in Lanzarote, this would be the first time the series has visited Mainland Europe.
Calendar Notes
The points system was changed this season due to the ERL organizers wanting closer championships, it would also encourage closer and more intense racing they said in a statement.
