The Africa Racing League is a spec single seater series that competes across the African continent, primarily featuring African drivers and teams. However, drivers from other nations are not expressly prohibited from participating in the series. The first season took place in 2018-19 using the Lola B05/52 chassis. Marcel Agyemang-Badu was the first champion of the series after a close fought season-long battle with Danny van Rijkens.
