Career

Zaugg started his career in AutoReject 2.0 Europe in 2017, racing for ICE-3. After not scoring in the first three out of eight weekends, he won from pole in the feature race at Monza. Another five pointless races followed, then he got second in the feature at Lausitz. In the final round at Brno, he scored in both races for the first time, coming fourth and eighth. He ended up seventh in the championship.

He stayed in AR2.0 with ICE-3 for the following season. The opener was at Monza, but he didn't get any points. Strangely enough, in the next meeting at Magny-Cours, he did indeed win the feature race followed by not scoring in the sprint. A pointless weekend at Ricardo Tormo followed, then he came third at Brands Hatch, again getting nothing from the sprint. He continued to alternate, getting no points in Austria, then at Zandvoort he came fifth in the feature race and paired it with the first sprint race podium of his career. A sixth place in the feature race at Spa was the only points finish for the rest of the season. He was tenth in the final standings.

He stayed with ICE-3 for 2019, but stepped up to AutoReject 3.5, and he would have the 2018 AR2.0 champion Katie May for a teammate.
